On Tuesday, a couple of friends and I marched in a protest against police brutality and for racial equality. It was a truly remarkable experience.

We took over Chinatown, marching from Mt. Vernon Square all the way to the Chinatown arch. Many people joined in off the streets and by the time the march concluded, the crowd had amassed into hundreds.

We were privileged to hear from a woman who protested at Soweto during those dangerous times in South Africa. Soweto was the turning point in the Apartheid and a global step for equality.

No justice, no peace, no racist police.
